Thai Massage continues to become more popular in the recent years. Traditional Thai Massage is an ancient form of bodywork that has been practiced in the temples of  Thailand for over 2500 years. Thai Massage  escorts the body and mind on a path towards a state of balance and health. Stretching and acupressure are used on muscles  during the massage. Thai massage is great for low-back pain, tight shoulders and the enhancement of flexibility for athletes.

Swedish Massage

We have a lot of stress in our lives. Stress is not good for the health because it makes our muscles tense and bunched up, causing pain. Massage is meant to alleviate pain and enhance the body’s health. Swedish massage is particularly focused on allowing the body to absorb more oxygen and rejuvenate through good relaxation.

Deep Tissue Massage

1-n1Deep tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity (such as athletes), and patients who have sustained physical injury. It is not uncommon for receivers of deep tissue massage to have their pain replaced with a new muscle ache for a day or two.  Deep tissue massage can reduce blood pressure after just one massage.  When muscles are stressed, they block oxygen and nutrients, leading to inflammation that builds up toxins in the  muscle tissue. A deep-tissue massage helps loosen muscle tissues, release toxins  from muscles and get blood and oxygen circulating properly. Because many toxins  are released, it’s important to drink plenty of water after a deep-tissue session  to help eliminate these toxins from the body.
